From left to right, freshman Marnie Lowe, senior Nick Gardner, junior Gunjan Baid, junior Tiffany Ko, senior Will Carson, and sophomore Karishma Pareek were among the 19 Cal High students who participated in the Contra Costa County Moot Court competition in Martinez on Oct. 16. Gunjan and Tiffany won first, Will and Nick second, and Marnie and Karishma placed third. This is the second consecutive year that Cal High students have been awarded the top three spots in the competition, and the third straight year that Cal has won the competition. Students who participated in the all-day competition are part of the school's mock trial class.
