Shiphrah Moses, Managing Editor

Shiphrah Moses is a senior and is the Managing Editor of The Californian. This is her second year as a part of the class and is excited to finally be doing it in-person. She enjoys all kinds of writing including screenwriting, playwriting and of course, journalism! Shiphrah also loves the performing arts, you can find her acting with Cal’s Play Production class and playing the flute and saxophone with the Wind Ensemble and Marching Band. In the future, she would like to go to college for screenwriting or broadcast journalism.

Many students created illustrations like this one for Senior Chalk Day on Aug. 9, while others decided to include racist and obscene language and inappropriate images. As a result, administrators had to get rid of all chalk illustrations before the first day of school.
