Freshmen Akshaya Narayanan is excited to be a staff writer for The Californian. This is her first year in newspaper and she can’t wait to interview others and write stories. She enjoys reading, drawing, and hanging out with family and friends. Some sports she plays in her free time are basketball and badminton. She joined newspaper because she wants to try something new that seems fun and will also have a positive impact. She looks forward to meeting new people, writing interesting stories, and just having a great time overall.
