This is Sanhita Chava’s first year with The Californian as a staff writer. She is a freshman and is excited to start her research and write on a range of topics, from politics to the latest trends, such as Labubu or performative males. Some of her hobbies include listening to music with her favorite artists being the Weekend and Tyler the Creator, going on walks with her dog, and getting a well-deserved 8 hours of sleep every night. Sanhita is currently on the JV Tennis team as a singles player and hopes to make her way up to the varsity team in her next 3 years here. When she is not working, you can find Sanhita reading a good book or rewatching her favorite show, Brooklyn Nine-Nine. This year, she is committed to writing any issue given to her to get on Mr. Barr’s good side.
