CJ Hopkins, Staff Writer
It’s CJ Hopkins’ first year as a staff writer for The Californian paper. He is a freshman and ready to help out with the newspaper, unless he falls asleep. He is sadly employed, working for the city over the summer, and eventually will be working to teach kids how to swim, which earns him mad money at a whopping $18.50 an hour, so he’s very broke. His hobbies include volunteering, disappointingly, he’s a band kid, playing the trombone, and he also likes to sleep. He is too lazy to do any real sports, but he does swim and Muay Thai in his free time. His favorite food is steak with rice or an egg, very basic, or a burger, very basic. In his spare time, he likes to sleep or do band kid things, such as practicing his instrument.
