Ready, set, mosh!

Summertime ushers in new opportunities for students to have fun and relax.

Here’s a of a few of the hotly anticipated concerts swinging through the Bay Area this summer.

1. Billie Eilish –  May 29 at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco

The 17-year-old American singer and songwriter will perform as part of the When We All Fall Asleep World Tour. This will be her third concert tour, following the 1 by 1 Tour from 2018 and 2019. 

The concert will feature songs from her new album, “When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?”, including the hit songs, “Bad Guy” and “Lovely”, which is a collaboration between her and Khalid. 

2. GOT7 –  June 10 at Oracle Arena in Oakland

K-Pop boy band GOT7 will hit the Bay Area as part of their third world tour. The seven member group will be performing songs from their new album “SPINNING TOP: BETWEEN SECURITY & INSECURITY”, which was released May 20.

The album features songs composed and written by members, such as “ECLIPSE”.

3. Khalid – June 28 at Oracle Arena in Oakland and  June 29 Golden 1 Center in Sacramento

R&B singer Khalid Donnel Robinson brings one of the most anticipated R&B tours of the year to the area in June with the Free Spirit World Tour.

Khalid will be performing songs such as “Talk”, “My Bad” and “Self” from the titular album, “Free Spirit”, which was released on April 5. 

4. Shawn Mendes – July 13 at Oracle Arena in Oakland

Canadian singer-songwriter and model Shawn Mendes will be coming to Oakland for his third solo tour in July.

Mendes’ tour, Shawn Mendes: The Tour supports his third studio album titled “Shawn Mendes”.

Mendes will perform his hit songs “In My Blood” and “Lost in Japan”. In addition, he will reprise “There’s Nothing Holding Me Back” from the reissue of his second album, “Illuminate”, and “Stitches” from his debut solo album, “Handwritten.”
