Senior Kavin Jain is back for his second, and unfortunately final, year with The Californian. He loved writing stories for the paper last year (and wondering why he didn’t join the class sooner), and is excited to be a News Editor this year. He looks forward to working with Andrew Chen, Gabby Huie, and Zoya Iqbal to bring the local issues and trends that impact Cal students to light. He loves listening to all types of music, spending time with friends and family, and tinkering with engineering or nerding out about physics. His least favorite part of senior year is grinding through college apps, but the promise of the esteemed second semester is all that’s keeping him chugging along. Kavin is excited to contribute more to the paper, have fun in the class, and end his last year at Cal strong.
