Junior Gabby Huie is excited to return for her second year on the Californian staff. As an assistant news editor, she hopes to contribute more to the news section and meet new people. In her very sparse free time, Gabby enjoys playing lacrosse, clearing the snack aisle at Trader Joe’s, and grabbing boba with friends (despite being semi lactose intolerant). Overall, she hopes to survive the rigorous course load of junior year and make fond memories this year in newspaper
