Ylin Zhu, Editor-in-Chief

Senior Ylin Zhu is back for her fourth and final year with The Californian Paper and this year as Editor-in-Chief. After pouring her blood sweat and tears since freshman year, she’s excited to lead the new team, hoping to cover more intriguing topics and crazy events throughout this school year. This year, she hopes that everyone follows the deadlines for each issue that way it causes a less stressed and angry Ylin (or as Mr.Barr puts it, the angry red panda from Turning Red). Now in her senior year, she no longer has time to babysit her sisters because she’s either out working or studying, if you know me, you’ll know that my go-to phrase now is “Sorry, I’m working that day”. But despite all that, she’s very eager to start the new year with new staff and she will always treasure her favorite minions, Nidhi Sudheendra, Anvi Kataria, and Shelly Parekh.
