Jackass 3D review

By Charley Kassabian, A&E editor

Everyone’s favorite idiots are back on the big screen for another two hours of bad ideas caught on film in Jackass 3D.
What started out as a hit TV show, Jackass has recently released its 3rd installment in a series of full length films, packed with all sorts of stunts, ranging from your basic department store boxing and blindfolded skateboarding, to dressing up as a gorilla and rampaging through Bam Margera’s parent’s hotel room.
With their newest movie, now filmed in the latest 3D technology, Jackass has once again drawn an audience to see Johnny Knoxville and friends do the things that no normal person would dare do. The members of Jackass have proven themselves to be dumber than dumb, pushing the limit of what the body can take. Even the camera man who, who you would expect to be used to the cast’s stupidity, vomits multiple times throughout the film.
As if all this wasn’t enough, the audience now has the joy of seeing Preston Lacey and Chris Pontius’ naked bodies and Johnny Knoxville’s bloody head pop from the screen as the film jumps onto the 3D bandwagon.
The film is generally similar to the previous two. It still has the fun, lovable charm of seeing grown men try to run through a path of stun guns and collapsing that has drawn such a vast audience, along with the disgusting, gut wrenching stunts that even the crew cant help but get sick from watching. That, thrown in with a bit of candid fun that the cast has with the general public, filmed in 3D technology, and you have yourself the newest movie of the Jackass series.
Jackass 3D isn’t anything special. It has the same stupidity as the movies did in the past, but it is fun to watch and laugh at others with a group of friends. The film is not for the weak stomached, but all in all is an enjoyable way to spend an afternoon
