Freshman Addison Jing is a new reporter for the Californian and loves to write. In her free time, she plays softball and soccer, listens to music while doing art, makes delicious meals and treats, and spends time with her family and friends. She looks forward to learning about Cal High and becoming involved in the journalism experience.

The girls who serve as the bases throw up the flier during their EBAL clinching competition. Cal’s team went on to win the NCS Championship and finish second in the state, which is the best finish of any sport in the school’s almost 50-year history.

Cal High’s new plan to minimize parking lot congestion during pick-up and drop-off was announced on Oct. 3 and it includes reopening the horseshoe in front of the admin building. Administrators had closed the horseshoe for the first two months of school.
