Women’s marches held across nation

Above, thousands of people gathered for the Women’s March at Civic Center in San Francisco on Jan. 21. People marched to stand in solidarity with women,  walking in large crowds well into the evening. Below, many people held signs promoting peace and equality at the San Francisco march on Market Street. Some of the signs had sayings that read,  “No hate” and “We deserve equal rights.”
