Drake’s sophomore album, “Take Care,” will be released on his 25th birthday, Oct. 24.

According to the singer, his album was inspired mainly by Lil Wayne and Rick Ross.

His first single, “Headlines,” was released in July and rocketed up to the 13th place on Billboard singles chart.

Unlike other artists, Drake voluntarily leaks songs for his fans. One leaked song from his album, “Marvin’s Room,” was covered by other famous singers including Jojo and Chris Brown. “Club Paradise,” “Free Spirit” and “Round of Applause” were also leaked by Drake on Sept. 10.

His singing voice and quiet bass gave a soft, deep and nostalgic touch to his new songs. It also provided a different perspective and style that he didn’t seem to have before.

Coldplay, the English alternative band, releases their album, Mylo Xyloto, on Oct. 25.

The attention grabbing album cover was influenced by the colorful American graffiti style.

Chris Martin, lead vocalist, said that the new album was also based on a love story with a happy ending.

Their new single, “Every Teardrop is a Waterfall,” was released on June 5, and immediately reached 29th on the Billboard Hot 100.

It then quickly shot up to 13th on the list.

The song has their usual romantic rock style but also mixed with some cheerful upbeats which are contradicting to the song name itself.

Coldplay has also released the songs “Major Minus” and “Moving to Mars” in July.

Viva La Vida, Coldplay’s previous album sold 2.8 million.

The strong and sassy “American Idol” winner, Kelly Clarkson, launches her album “Stronger,” on Oct. 25.

The album was so anticipated by fans that three of her new songs were unfortunately leaked during July, but were removed after several weeks. Her first single, “Mr. Know It All,” was first played during her live chat on her official site where she happily answered questions from her fans.

During the chat, Clarkson also said that the album is vocally different from her other albums in the past. The style throughout the album is empowering but still has her favorite sassy attitude.

Other than being sassy, Clarkson also is involved in writing half of her album including her favorite song in the album, “You Love Me.”

Evanescence, the famous dark rock band, will release their self-titled album on Oct. 11.

“The Open Door,” Evanescence’s previous album, was  released five years ago, so fans are excited to see their long awaited new album.

Their first single, “What You Want,” was very different from their previous dark rock songs.

Evanescence’s vocalist Amy Lee said the band had a lot of fun while producing this album.

But some of their fans hated the new single, saying it was too light and pop like.  Evanesence is known for their dark and sometimes moody music. Their genre has always been  rock with some metal influences.

But their new single surprised everyone with a new pop rock  style, replacing their old gloomy acoustic vibe they had in their two previous albums. Fans are excited for this new style.

Grammy winner Mary J Blige, releases her album, “My Life Part 2,”  17 years after  Part 1 of  her album.

One of her songs, “The Living Proof,” was featured in the movie, “The Help” because of her powerful and soothing voice. The song is personally motivated by the obstacles and barriers that she has faced all these years.

Part 1 of this album went multi-platinum, so her follow-up to it is expected to be off the charts as well.

Blige has been recording this album for a year and hopes her new feel to this album is what people want to hear.

The artist wants to start working on a part 3 because she thinks there’s too much good music.

The album was released on Tuesday and has already begun  to  attract many listeners.
