Restaurant: Los Panchos

Dish: Chimichanga

Rating: 10/10

The fried carnitas burrito, or the chimichanga, is a bit like a hardshell taco and a burrito in one, a bit of crunch without the mess.

The plate comes with a side of guacamole, sour cream and a special red sauce.

The special sauce is a mix of tangy and spice, a perfect compliment to the burrito’s saltiness.

Unlike Chipotle, there is no limit to their sauces or even their chips.

This meal is also steal with its large portion for only $5.75.

If you aren’t into the whole fried burrito idea, there are plenty of other options, from super burritos to quesadillas. All dishes are at a similar price to the chimichanga.

There are two locations, one in downtown Danville and one in San Ramon.

The brilliant scientists who brought us the world famous megatreat, the “Cheez-It,” have done it again.

The winner of the highly publicized “You Choose the Cheese Poll,”  Colby Cheez-Its have rocketed onto the snack scene, changing the game forever.

Externally, they look like your regular old Cheez-It, but as soon as you get a taste, it’s clear there is something different going on here.

I mean, we all love the classic original Cheez-Its, but they are nothing in comparison to the joyous cheesy delight of Colby cheese.

Colby packs a flavor punch that can only be described as, CHEESETASTIC and delicious.

The best part is that this food is available anywhere.

Restaurant: McDonald’s

Dish: Double Bacon Cheeseburger Meal

Rating: 9/10

McDonald’s is a delicious restaurant, but only if you occasionally eat there.

Too much of it could be unhealthy.

The burger is warm and and the bacon is cooked to a perfect crunch. From the minute you take your first bite, to finishing the last crumb, you are enjoying a burger made into perfection.

Their french fries are warm and  all of them taste scrumptious.  After you have finished this filling, yet inexpensive meal, you realize you have enough money left for McDonald’s apple pies that are two for $1. They’re warm and sweet and you then leave the restaurant completely satisfied.
