The Californian

Rebecca Newman
Rebecca Newman, a junior and second year newspaper student, is the graphics editor for the Californian. A dedicated digital artist, Rebecca enjoys creating illustrations and comics with the goal of telling a meaningful (and equally hilarious) story. As well as drawing, she enjoys writing and playing the drum set in the school’s marching band front ensemble. She has great interest in video games, and if she’s not drawing for the paper, odds are that she’s writing about Zelda, Mario, or her favorite game Celeste. She hopes to one day become a game developer, comic artist, or animator.
